WHO

WE ARE

Lant3k pronounced as /lanˈtek/. As a technology start-up we wanted to have a bit of fun with the orthography in our company name, using a substitution of the number 3 to represent the letter e. It is based on Leetspeak and is mostly referred to as an alpha-numeric brand name.

A Lan stands for local area network and is typically a computer network that spans a relatively small area like an office or building which may also be spread over several locations. This is our main customer base, smaller organisations employing less than 50 employees.

Tek is short for technicians.

Lant3k IT solutions Pty Ltd was born in 2013 as a partnership between the two managing directors, who’ve been friends for about 15 years and later converted into a company. Both emigrated to Australia as International Students studying in Melbourne and after working in the local IT industry, they saw a gap in the non-for-profit sector and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as there weren’t many IT companies who understood the sector and provided affordable professional IT services; mostly having to resort to the break/fix model occasionally calling upon IT when something went wrong.

Planning & On Boarding

We assess and plan upgrades or improvement to your system and provide documentation and schedules for each change and on boarding process. Stakeholders are notified at every step.

Service Desk & Support

We provide the organisation a customised online service portal. The portal also provides knowledge-base and self-service information. Remote and On Site support is provided to end users.

Asset & Incident Management

We provide a platform for our client to view all their assets in their organisations. This provides visibility on all hardware and software licences within one portal. We will monitor and maintain your IT systems. Reporting is provided on a scheduled basis.
